Usage: bite <target>
bite (while in combat -- targets current enemy)
Description:
Lunge at a target and sink your teeth into their flesh, dealing
impale damage with a chance to spread infection. Bite is a melee
combat ability exclusive to the Zombie race (Stench class) and
serves as the entry-point ability in the Stench skill tree.
How It Works:
When you use bite, your Natural Abilities skill is rolled against
the target's Evasion skill to determine the outcome:
Hit: You bite the target for 100 damage (impale) and have
a 33% chance to inflict Infected-1.
You bite $N, sinking your teeth into $S flesh!
Miss: The bite misses. No damage is dealt.
You try to bite $N but miss!
Bite has a 6-second cooldown after each use, hit or miss.
Costs 5 movement per use.
Execution:
If the target is incapacitated (dying on the ground), bite
automatically executes them -- no skill roll needed. You sink your
teeth into their throat for lethal damage.
You sink your teeth into $N's throat, finishing $M off!
Infection:
On a successful hit, there is a 33% chance to infect the target
with Infected-1. While infected (12 seconds):
- Health -5
- Agility -5
- Perception -5
- Max HP -50
- HP Regen -5
- Evasion -5
The infection weakens the target across the board, reducing their
combat effectiveness and ability to recover.
Combat Behavior:
- Using bite outside of combat initiates combat with the target.
- While already fighting, bite with no argument targets your
current opponent.
- Cannot be used in peaceful rooms.
- Cannot target yourself.
