Usage: build
build <structure>
build yes / no / cancel
Description:
Place a faction base structure in the current area. Base structures
are race-locked deployables that occupy a fixed grid footprint of
rooms, generate base points over time, and grant passive bonuses
through linking and upgrades.
Subcommands:
build ................. List every structure available to your
race with cost, income, SP reward, and how
many you have already built.
build <structure> .... Preview placement. Highlights the
planned cells on your map and prints the
cost; pending for 30 seconds.
build yes ............ Confirm a pending preview.
build no ............. Cancel a pending preview.
Placement:
Each structure has a fixed footprint pattern of up to 5x5 cells
centered on your current room. The preview highlights:
green cells that are clear and will be built on
red cells blocked by walls or another base
If any cell is red the build is refused -- move to clearer
ground and try again.
Default Structure:
Every race has a default structure (marked (default) in the
listing). You must build your default first; every other structure
requires it as an anchor. The default cannot be demolished while
other structures are still standing -- tear them down first.
Costs & Limits:
Build cost ........ Deducted from your base point balance
on a successful build. Some structures are
free.
Max per player ... Shown as built/max in the structure
list. Bare number means unlimited.
Build delay ...... Some structures have a construction
timer during which you cannot act. The
default is instant.
Restrictions:
- Must be standing in the room you want as the structure's
anchor.
- Anchor room cannot already host a base structure.
- You must own the default base before placing anything
else.
- Pending previews expire after 30 seconds or if you
move.
