cook list <category>
cook <dish name>
Description:
Cook turns gathered ingredients into food that grants timed buffs when
eaten. You must be standing in a room with a lit campfire or cook station;
if none is present, cooking refuses.
Ingredients are materials -- the same crafting materials that recipes and
loot tables use. Each dish lists the materials and counts it needs; a
successful cook consumes them and produces the finished food.
Subcommands:
cook ........................ Show the dish categories (same as cook list).
cook list ................... List every dish category.
cook list <category> ........ List that category's dishes and the
ingredients each needs -- shown in green
when you have enough, rose when you do not.
cook <dish name> ............ Begin cooking that dish.
Cooking:
Cooking takes time; a message marks the start and the finish. Walking away
before it completes ruins the dish -- but the ingredients are not consumed
unless the cook succeeds, so an interrupted cook costs you nothing.
A higher Cooking skill cooks faster, makes better food (longer-lasting
buffs), and occasionally yields an extra dish from the same ingredients.
Eating:
Eating a cooked dish applies its buffs as timed affects -- check them with
buffs. The buff lasts for the dish's set duration and then fades. Ordinary
food that carries no buffs is unchanged.

> cook list stews
> cook hearty stew
