Usage: craft
craft list
craft list <category>
craft <recipe name>
Description:
Craft turns raw materials into finished gear -- weapons, armor, and
attachments -- using the Crafting skill. Recipes are grouped into
categories; browse them to see what you can make and what each one needs.
Materials are ITEM_MATERIAL items that must be in your inventory (not
worn, not tucked in a container) -- they stack, so one item can represent a
large quantity of a material.
Subcommands:
craft ....................... Show the recipe categories (same as
craft list).
craft list .................. List every recipe category.
craft list <category> ....... List that category's recipes and the
materials each needs -- shown in green
when you have enough, rose when you do not.
craft <recipe name> ......... Begin crafting that recipe. A single
keyword from the name is enough, e.g.
craft rifle for "Makeshift Rifle".
Crafting:
Crafting takes time; a message marks the start and the finish. Walking
away or entering another command before it completes interrupts the craft --
materials and MP are not spent unless it completes, so an interrupted
craft costs you nothing.
A higher Crafting skill crafts faster, produces sturdier gear, and
occasionally yields an extra copy from the same materials. Finishing a craft
also counts as a use of the skill, contributing to its growth.
Requirements:
A recipe may require any combination of:
Materials ....... Consumed only if the craft completes.
MP .............. Mission Points spent on completion.
Skill ........... Minimum Crafting skill to attempt the recipe.
Race ............ Some recipes are restricted to a specific race.
Recipes you don't yet qualify for (skill or race) are left off of
craft list entirely, so what you see there is always craftable.
Crafted Gear Quality:
Finished gear has a chance to come out enchanted with a bonus affix, the
same as loot dropped by mobs -- most crafts still turn out Common (no
affix). When one does roll, your Crafting skill gates how high it can
reach:
Uncommon ........ Always in reach once an affix rolls at all.
Rare ............ Unlocked at 20 Crafting skill.
Epic ............ Unlocked at 40 Crafting skill.
Legendary ....... Never craftable -- found only as loot.
A higher skill also raises the odds of an affix rolling in the first
place. Even with Epic unlocked, Uncommon results stay the most common
outcome -- the ceiling is a long shot, not a guarantee.
