IMM_NOTITLE
Keywords: IMM_NOTITLE, WIZ_NOTITLE
=== STAFF MANUAL ===
Usage: notitle <player>
Description:
Toggles the PLR_NOTITLE flag on a player. While flagged, the
victim cannot use the title command to change their own title --
the existing title stays locked in place. Use this against
players who abuse self-titling with profanity, impersonation,
or graphic text, as a lower-impact alternative to freezing.
Behavior:
There is no separate `unnotitle` command -- notitle toggles
the flag. Run it once to set, run it again on the same target
to clear. The current state is visible in the player's flag
list via stat.
While PLR_NOTITLE is set, a title attempt by the victim is
rejected with:
You can't title yourself -- you shouldn't have
abused it!
The player's existing title is untouched; only the ability
to change it is blocked. Staff can still rewrite the title
with set as usual.
Output:
The invoker and the staff wiznet both see the same toggle
line:
(GC) Notitle ON for <vict> by <name>.
(GC) Notitle OFF for <vict> by <name>.
Restrictions:
- Requires the Security staff permission.
- Cannot be applied to mobs.
- Staff-on-staff notitle follows the standard rules:
flagging another staff member requires Admin, and
admin-flagged targets cannot be notitled at all.
Notes:
- The flag is written to the victim's pfile immediately
and persists across logout, reboot, and crashes.
- Staff can always change another player's title
directly with set <player> title <text> regardless of
this flag.
