Usage: poofin [message]
poofout [message]
Description:
Set the messages other players see when you use goto.
poofout is shown to the room you leave; poofin is shown to
the room you arrive in. With no argument, clears your custom
message and reverts to the default. Requires General privileges.
How Messages Display:
Your name is automatically prepended as $n. You only provide
the action text after your name:
> poofout vanishes in a flash of light.
Room sees: "Yourname vanishes in a flash of light."
> poofin materializes from thin air.
Room sees: "Yourname materializes from thin air."
Defaults (used when no custom message is set):
Poofout: $n disappears in a puff of smoke.
Poofin: $n appears with an ear-splitting bang.
Notes:
- Messages support color codes.
- Only the goto command uses poof messages. transfer and
teleport use their own fixed messages.
- Messages are saved with your character.
