=== USER MANUAL === Usage: mission [log] mission list mission accept <#> mission info <#> mission abandon <#> mission completed Description: Missions are objectives offered by quest-giver NPCs. You may have up to 5 active missions at once. Progress is tracked automatically as you play; when every objective of a mission is met you receive its reward. Accepting Missions: Find an NPC that offers missions and, while in the room with them: mission list ......... Show the missions available to you here. mission accept <#> ... Take on the numbered mission from the list. Tracking Missions: mission .............. List your active missions and their progress. mission info <#> ..... Show full detail for one active mission. mission abandon <#> .. Drop an active mission, freeing a slot. Completed Missions: mission completed .... Your full history of finished missions. Also spelled mission history. The history lists every mission you have ever finished, most recent first, and is not limited to 5 entries. A mission you have finished more than once (see Rewards below) is shown once with an xN count beside it. A mission whose definition has since been removed from the game still appears, marked as such -- your history never silently shrinks. Objective Types: Kill ............. Defeat a number of a target creature. Collect .......... Bring a number of an item to the giver (give it). Visit ............ Travel to a specific location. Talk to .......... Speak (say) in the presence of a specific NPC. Rewards: Missions may grant Mission Points, Skill Points, and/or items. Some missions are repeatable; others can only be completed once. A mission may also grant a permanent perk -- a lasting bonus to one of your character's stats. Only missions that can be completed once grant a perk; repeatable missions never do, so they cannot be farmed for stats. Perks are recomputed from your completed-mission history each time you log in, and are reflected on your score. Related Helpfiles: SCORE, GIVE, SAY === END MANUAL ===
