=== USER MANUAL === Class: Sapper Race: Human Level Required: 10 Description: A human combat engineer class focused on shotguns, traps, radio air support, and battlefield engineering. Sapper unlocks at level 10 and trades the breadth of Soldier for depth in area control, deployables, and call-in firepower. Firearm Branch: Shotgun (up to 3 pts) +5% damage with shotgun-tagged weapons per point. Gateway to every other Sapper node. Traps Branch: Alarm (1 pt) requires Shotgun Unlocks alarm traps -- silent perimeter triggers that ping you when an enemy enters their pattern. Sentry (2 pts) requires Alarm Unlocks sentry turret traps that periodically scan their pattern and fire on the first eligible target in range. Radio Branch: Radio (3 pts) requires Shotgun Unlocks the radio command -- the forward air support call-in interface. Supply (1 pt) requires Radio radio resupply. Drop an ammo / medkit / grenade pack at a target tile. Airstrike (2 pts) requires Radio radio airstrike. Delayed explosive blast on a tile within scan range. Damage scales with Demolitions. Mecha (3 pts) requires Radio radio mecha. Deploy a piloted combat vehicle for a limited duration on a long cooldown. Nuke (4 pts) requires Airstrike radio nuke. Orbital strike with massive radius and damage on a very long cooldown. Save it. Engineering Branch: Engineer (up to 2 pts) requires Shotgun +7 Engineering per point. Improves repair speed, structure work, and equipment handling. Drone (2 pts) requires Engineer Unlocks the recon drone summon and grants +2 summon slots. Repair (2 pts) requires Engineer +1 durability restored per repair action. Mutually exclusive with Destroy. Destroy (2 pts) requires Engineer +1 durability damage inflicted (including via demolitions and explosives). Mutually exclusive with Repair. Notes: - All three branches require at least one point in Shotgun. - Repair and Destroy are an either-or fork -- pick the role you want before you spend, since unlocking one locks out the other until you unclass. - The whole Radio sub-tree costs 13 pts fully maxed (Radio 3 + Supply 1 + Airstrike 2 + Mecha 3 + Nuke 4).
