SPOT
Keywords: SPOT
=== USER MANUAL ===
Usage: spot <target>
Description:
Mark an enemy target so that it becomes visible on the overhead map
for all friendly players, not just yourself. The target also
suffers evasion and stealth penalties for the duration of the spot.
If a friendly player kills the spotted target while it is still
marked, you receive a percentage of the kill reward (MP and SP).
You do not receive a reward if you make the kill yourself.
Range:
Spot uses your scan range to find targets -- the same range as the
scan command. Targets can be in the same room or anywhere within
your scan radius.
Map Highlighting:
Spotted enemies appear on the overhead map with a colored background
for all players of the spotter's faction:
Red ......... Enemy (spotted)
Green ....... Friendly
Yellow ...... Neutral
The highlight persists for the full duration of the spot effect,
unlike scan tags which fade after a few seconds.
Spotter Reward:
When a friendly player kills your spotted target:
- You receive a percentage of the target's MP value.
- For NPC kills, you also receive a percentage of SP.
- Traitors and players with negative Skill Points are ineligible.
Notes:
- You can only spot enemies -- not friendlies or neutrals.
- The spot has a cooldown before it can be used again.
- Duration, cooldown, debuffs, and reward % may vary by class
node upgrades.
- Only one spot can be active on a target at a time. Re-spotting
refreshes the duration.
