Usage: throw <target> [direction]
throw <direction>
throw into <vehicle>
Description:
Throw a held throwable weapon at a target. Throwables include spears,
axes, knives, and similar items. With a target name, the weapon is hurled
at that character. With a direction, it is thrown along that path.
Examples:
throw alien ........... throw at a target in range
throw alien north ..... throw at a target to the north
throw north ........... throw northward
throw into apc ........ throw into a vehicle
Range:
Throw distance is determined by the weapon's base range plus a bonus
from your Coordination stat:
Base Range ............ set per weapon (0-8 rooms)
Coordination Bonus .... +1 room per 5 effective Coordination
Coordination Bonus
120 (eff 15) ........ +3 rooms
78 (eff 12) ........ +2 rooms
45 (eff 9) ........ +1 room
6 (eff 3) ........ +0 rooms
Total range is capped at 11 rooms. A weapon with 0 base range
relies entirely on Coordination for its throw distance.
Notes:
- Throwables cannot be thrown through barriers or no-shoot exits.
- Boomerang-type weapons return to you after being thrown.
