Usage: up (shortcut: u)
Description:
Move your character one room upward. Each step costs 1 MV.
If you lack sufficient movement points you will be told you are too
exhausted to continue.
Blocked Movement:
- Closed door -- you must open the door first.
- Barrier -- impassable terrain that cannot be crossed.
- Barricade / Blocked -- the exit is physically obstructed.
- Flying sector -- requires the FLYING affect to enter.
- Deep water -- requires a boat or FLYING to cross.
- Race-locked exit -- some exits restrict specific races.
- Gravity -- you cannot move while falling.
- Charm -- charmed characters cannot leave their master.
Gravity:
Rooms flagged with GRAVITY pull you downward. If you enter a
gravity room without the FLYING affect, you begin falling and
cannot move in any direction. You fall one room per heartbeat,
taking escalating damage based on the number of rooms fallen.
Being stunned or trapped disables flight, leaving you
vulnerable to gravity.
Stealth:
If you have the SNEAK affect active, your movement is hidden from
other characters. Enemies will only see you arrive or depart if their
Observation exceeds your Stealth. Allies always see your movement.
