=== USER MANUAL ===
Description:
Vehicles let you traverse hazardous terrain such as vacuum, deep
water, and interstellar space. There are two types of vehicles:
Mountable Vehicles:
Smaller vehicles you ride on top of (e.g. bikes, turrets). You
mount them and drive from the mounted position.
> mount bike
You mount a hoverbike.
> drive north
You drive north.
> unmount
You dismount a hoverbike.
Only one character can ride a mountable vehicle at a time. Sitting
on a mountable vehicle is the same as mounting it -- you can use
sit <vehicle> as a shortcut.
Enterable Vehicles:
Larger vehicles with an interior you climb into (e.g. dropships,
APCs). You enter the vehicle, find the control panel inside, and
drive from there.
> enter dropship
You climb into a dropship.
> drive south
You drive south.
> leave
You climb out of a dropship.
Some enterable vehicles also have bay doors that allow smaller
vehicles to drive inside using drive into <vehicle>.
Terrain Restrictions:
Vehicles are restricted by their capabilities:
Ground ........ Standard land terrain
Air ........... Flying / atmospheric sectors
Water ......... Deep water (boats, submarines)
Underwater .... Submerged sectors (submarines only)
Space ......... Orbital space sectors
Interstellar . Deep space travel
Driving into terrain your vehicle cannot handle will be blocked.
Rooms not flagged for vehicle access will also refuse entry.
Fuel & Damage:
Vehicles consume fuel when driven. If fuel runs out, you cannot
drive further. Vehicles can also be disabled, preventing movement
until repaired.
Automated Transports:
Some vehicles are automated transports that carry passengers to
specific destinations at regular intervals. Simply enter and wait.
